F-Number Measurement Services

BHATE Engineering Corporation's Floor Profiling is performed by certified floor profilers utilizing state-of-the-art, fully automated equipment to statistically analyze and graph the test surface's profile.

All profile determinations are performed in accordance with ASTM E 1155-87, which is recognized by the ACI Committee 117 as the standard test method for determining floor flatness and levelness.

The right floor flatness is essential to the usefulness of every concrete floor.

Floor Surface Condition - The F-number system is an indicator of the floor's surface condition, specifically the floor's flatness and levelness.

Slab-On-Grade Design and Consulting - We produce and/or assist with the production of construction documents that will facilitate installation of slab on-grades with the flatness and levelness desired.

Commercial and Industrial Floors - Are more efficient when the floor is flat enough to allow:

Floor coverings to be installed more easily
Doorjambs to fit properly
Movable partitions to move more readily
Furniture, fixtures, and equipment to sit more squarely on the floor

Warehouse Operations - Are more efficient if lift trucks can run at full speed. Lift trucks that shake and vibrate have higher maintenance costs and downtime.

High-Rise Floors - Are less expensive to build when they don't require leveling compounds to bring them into tolerance.
